Are you thinking of starting a part-time job or going straight into employment after school? There's a lot of advice out there to help you search and apply for good jobs.
Searching for Jobs
Searching for jobs can be a time-consuming exercise. It can be frustrating too. It's not often that your dream job will land in your lap the first time you go looking for it. With a bit of patience though, you can find jobs that will take you on the path you want to go.
There are two main ways you can go about looking for a job:
(a) Search job vacancies online
There are many websites that allow you to search and apply for jobs. We've included links to the best below:

(b) Contact employers
Sometimes an employer you'd like to work for won't be advertising any vacancies. But that doesn't necessarily mean they won't have a job for you, now or in the future.
There's no harm in contacting them, expressing your interest, and sending a copy of your CV. Even if they don't have any jobs available right now, there's every chance they'll bear you in mind for the future.
