Royal Conservatoire Theatre Trip
Widening Access to the Creative Industries and Transitions are offering pupils the opportunity to see Cyrano de Bergerac at the Citizens Theatre. Pupils will attend an introductory and a follow-up session with a Conservatoire tutor. These sessions will prepare you to effectively discuss performance – a common discussion point at audition and interview.

The brash and flamboyant Cyrano’s low self-image prevents him from revealing his love to Roxane. He lends his poetic skills instead to the (outwardly) handsome Christian, who wins Roxane’s heart through Cyrano's passionate ghost-written letters. Throughout the Franco-Spanish war, Cyrano continues to put quill to parchment, risking his life in the process, to express his true feelings.
Pupils can see this production at the Citizen’s Theatre, on Tuesday 18th September.
This trip is fully-funded, which means there is no cost to pupils
