Parent Experiences

As a parent/carer, we want the best for the children in our care.  Often we already have the knowledge around how to help them but when it comes to college and university it can be a minefield of information!  SWAP West (Scottish Wider Access Programme) works with people wanting to gain access to college and university qualifications after a break in education.  Many of their students are parents and are experiencing Higher Education for the first time themselves.  We spoke to two of their students who have young people at secondary school considering their options to find out more about their thoughts on their children going on to further study after school.
